Buff Orpington ducks are a medium duck breed, weighing between 5-6 pounds, with males weighing more than females. They were originally bred as meat birds, with easy to pluck feathers, but are also decent egg layers. Buff Orpington ducks appear a lovely buff yellow-tan.
