White Crested ducks are such a fun breed! They appear white in color and have a tuft of feathers centrally located on the top of their head, known as a crest. They weigh between 5-7 pounds, with males weighing more than females. Not all white crested ducks will be born with a crest. It is, however, possible to breed a white crested duck with other duck breeds and obtain a crest.
